What We Believe

What We Believe

God

We believe in one eternal, omnipotent, and triune God who exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and He is perfect in holiness, love, and wisdom.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. Jesus willingly laid down His life on the cross, shedding His blood as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of humanity. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers, equipping them with spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

The Church

We believe that the Church is the universal and eternal body of Christ, consisting of all true believers. The Church is called to worship God, fellowship with one another, proclaim the Gospel, and engage in acts of love and justice. We affirm the importance of both the local church and the global Church in fulfilling God's purposes.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the ultimate authority for faith and practice, revealing God's character, His redemptive plan through Jesus Christ, and providing guidance for righteous living.

Sin

We believe that all humanity is born with a sinful nature inherited from Adam and Eve. Sin separates us from God and brings spiritual and physical death. We are unable to save ourselves or attain righteousness.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a free gift from God, not based on our works or merit. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are justified, forgiven of our sins, and reconciled to God.

Baptism

We believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inward transformation and obedience to Christ's command. It is administered by immersion, symbolizing the believer's identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.

Resurrection

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who have trusted in Christ will be raised to eternal life in the presence of God, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation from God.

The Great Commission

We believe in the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ to His followers. We are called to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that Jesus commanded.

Marriage

We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, intended to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman. It reflects the relationship between Christ and His Church and is designed for companionship, procreation, and the nurturing of children.

About Essential and Non-Essential Beliefs

We firmly adhere to and promote the fundamental beliefs outlined in our "What We Believe". This document encompasses our core theological convictions and provides a solid foundation for our ministry's activities and teachings.

We recognize that within the broader body of Christ, there may be variations in nonessential doctrines and beliefs that are subject to different interpretations among local churches and denominations. As a result, we respect the autonomy and diversity of these local expressions of faith.

Our primary focus is on the essential beliefs affirmed in our "What We Believe" statement. These essential beliefs encompass our understanding of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Church, marriage, the Bible, Baptism, sin, salvation, resurrections, and the Great Commission. These core teachings shape our ministry's mission and guide us in our pursuit of glorifying God and serving others.

While we value theological discussion and the exploration of various perspectives within the body of Christ, we affirm that our ministry's primary purpose is centered on the essentials of our faith. We are committed to promoting unity and fostering a spirit of love, cooperation, and understanding among believers.
