Prayer Team
Lead and encourage those committed to praying for First Follower Missions. You'll organize and share prayer requests, provide spiritual encouragement to Prayer Team members, and host a weekly prayer meeting—either locally in Tallahassee or remotely via video call. This role is ideal for someone with a heart for intercession and a gift for spiritual leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and distributing prayer requests
- Supporting and encouraging prayer volunteers
- Hosting a weekly prayer meeting (in-person or online)
- Helping develop the Prayer Team
First Follower Missions needs faithful believers to lift this ministry in prayer. As a Prayer Team Member, you’ll stand in the gap for the missionaries and projects we partner with, the communities they serve, and for the work God is calling us to build from the ground up. Whether you're called to intercede daily or weekly, your spiritual support is vital to this mission.
Whether you pray daily or once a week, every day, alone or with a group, your contribution makes a difference. We'll share specific requests and updates with you regularly so you can pray with purpose. If you believe in the power of prayer and want to be part of what God is doing through FFM, we would be honored to have you on the team.
Administration
Support the mission by keeping things organized behind the scenes. As a volunteer Administrative Assistant, you’ll help with essential tasks like managing emails, scheduling, organizing files, and supporting communications. This role is ideal for someone who wants to serve faithfully in a support capacity, either locally or remotely.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing digital spaces, understands how different platforms work together, and wants to strengthen the foundation of a growing ministry.
Help bring clarity and momentum to the work we’re carrying forward. As a Project Manager, you’ll help organize, track, and coordinate the various projects within First Follower Missions, ensuring that ideas move forward and priorities stay clear. Using tools like Asana, you’ll help create simple workflows that keep projects on schedule and teams aligned.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, bringing order to moving parts, and helping others stay focused on what matters most. You’ll play a key role in supporting the mission by making sure important work doesn’t fall through the cracks.
Love sharing your opinion and helping shape ideas? As a Focus Group Member, you’ll be part of a circle of trusted voices who give feedback on things like our website, draft videos, new resources, and more. Your insights will help us see what’s working, what’s unclear, and how we can better connect with others. This is a great role for volunteers who enjoy giving honest input and being part of the creative process.
Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a love for clear communication? As a Copy Editor, you’ll help refine and polish the words we share—whether it’s website content, newsletters, training materials, or donor communication. Your role ensures that everything we publish is professional, consistent, and aligned with our mission. This is a great opportunity for volunteers who enjoy editing, grammar, and making good writing even better.
Not sure where you fit? We’d still love your help! As a General Helper, you’ll join the mission in a variety of small but meaningful ways—like organizing digital files, assisting with communication tasks, updating social media, helping with fundraisers or events, or simply being available when needs arise. This is a great role for flexible, dependable volunteers who want to pitch in wherever they're most needed.

Other
Do you have a unique skill or professional background you’d like to offer in service of the mission? Whether it's legal, design, translation, tech, consulting, or something we haven’t thought of yet—we’re open to receiving help from trusted, skilled individuals who share our heart for the gospel.
If you believe your expertise could benefit First Follower Missions, we’d love to hear from you. Please briefly share your background, how you'd like to serve, and any relevant experience or qualifications. We'll follow up if it seems like a good fit for this season.
Note: We're currently a growing ministry and may not be able to accept every offer, but we appreciate each one and prayerfully consider where God might be providing.
